We are a non-profit association founded in the city of Valencia in 2015.

Our job is to carry out a large-scale cultural action.

Get to know the Young Company

The young company VDF operates for five months a year. Fourteen dancers recently graduated from the best European schools are selected to create a dance program that encompasses classical, neoclassical and contemporary dance styles.

Trained at the Municipal Professional Dance Conservatory of Riba-roja de Túria and the ESDC Rosella Hightower (FR) where he graduated. During her professional career she has danced at  Titoyaya (ES), Introdans (NL), the Ballet de la Generalitat Valenciana (ES), Dance Works de Rotterdam (NL), Gran Canaria Ballet (ES), at Europa Danse (FR) and at the CCN of Nantes Claude Brumachon (FR) where he has performed pieces by N.Duato, O. Naharin, M. Moreau, R. Oller, H. Koch, G.Ramírez and J. Maillot among others.

In 2004 he was awarded at the Monaco Dance Forum as “Best Young Promise” and in 2010 he was nominated by Dance Europe magazine in the “Top 100 outstanding dancers” list. 

As a choreographer, he has made the pieces “Isolats”, “Ex-pressions” for the Ballet de la Generalitat and “EpisOdis” for the XX Appointment with Dance FIB. In addition, he has choreographed in the interdisciplinary projects of the Provincial Council of Valencia “Formossísima” and “Temps d’abraçar”.

In 2023 he joins the civil service of the Primary Education teacher body of the Generalitat Valenciana and is part of educational projects such as Com Sona l'ESO in which dance and music are combined in formal training.

Soloist dancer of the Ballet de la Generalitat Valenciana (ES) from 2008 to 2017. 

Graduated in 2003 from the Professional Conservatory of Dance of Valencia in the specialty of Classical Dance, she continued her training at the National Dance Company 2, at the Teatro Alla Scala in Milan and at the Scuola di Danza Teatro dell'Opera di Roma, among others. others. 

Professionally, she has danced pieces by Nacho Duato, Ohad Naharín, Marcos Morau, Gustavo Ramírez, Ramón Oller, among projects and companies.

Graduated in Classical Dance Pedagogy in 2009 from the Conservatorio Superior de Dansa de València, she combines her professional career with teaching by teaching classes in private schools and public centers in Valencia, currently a teacher at the Conservatori Professional de Dansa de Castelló. In 2016 he completed his training with a Master's Degree in Cultural Management, from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC).

In the choreographic field he premiered in 2012 with “Zaquizamí”, a piece created in collaboration with Thaïs Martínez and premiered by the Ballet of the Generalitat Valenciana..

Graduated from the Royal Professional Conservatory of Dance of Madrid in 2003. She has been a dancer with soloist roles in large companies such as the English National Ballet, , Stuttgart Ballet and Ballet de la Generalitat Valenciana.  

In 2003 she was a semi-finalist at the Prix de Lausanne and nominated in 2008 for the Spotlight Award as Female (classical) at the National British Dance Awards. She has danced for the Queen of England at Buckingham Palace and represented arts and culture in the English pavilion at the Shanghai Expo in 2010. 

Since 2018 she has been Rehearsal Director of the National Ballet of Ireland and collaborates with the Instituto Cervantes headquarters in Dublin on talks and specific projects that unite the Spanish language and culture with dance. In its goal of bringing dance to all audiences in 2022, it creates the Migrantes de la Danza, podcast, a sound space that gives voice to artists who develop their professional careers inside and outside our borders. 

In addition, he has participated in educational workshops for children with special motor needs, such as the BalletVale+ project and for minors supervised by the State through the Diagrama Foundation. 

As a choreographer she has collaborated on several occasions for the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía, choreographing the piece “Caprichos” with music by Nicolo Paganini  and the children's show “Mozart Un Tanz” together with Fátima Sanlés for the Mozart Nacht und Tag conferences, both organized by the Valencian Coliseum. 

She combines her work in Ireland by participating as a guest teacher in large companies and schools at national and European level such as National Ballet of Marseille (France), Joburg Ballet (South Africa), Ballet Basel (Switzerland), Scottish Ballet (UK), Professional Conservatory of Dance of València and and Burgos Professional Dance Conservatory as a specialist teacher of classical repertoire.
