About us

We are a non-profit association founded in the city of Valencia in 2015. Our work is to carry out a large-scale cultural action through two lines of action: 

  • Guarantee the professional projection of young dancers in training:
  • Make Valencian society aware of the professionalization of dance and its social benefits:

This platform helps to PROMOTE CREATION AND SPREAD CULTURE in the Valencian Community. 

GOALS

Develop a cultural action that ensures the projection of the best dancers recently graduated from the most prominent Valencian and European schools.

Fomentar la creación y difundir la cultura en la Comunidad Valenciana.

Promote education, talent and the creation of Valencian cultural products.

Contribute to development and social cohesion, since VDF plays an important role in the integration of communities and gender equality processes.

Trained at the Municipal Professional Dance Conservatory of Riba-roja de Túria and the ESDC Rosella Hightower (FR) where he graduated. During her professional career she has danced at  Titoyaya (ES), Introdans (NL), the Ballet de la Generalitat Valenciana (ES), Dance Works de Rotterdam (NL), Gran Canaria Ballet (ES), at Europa Danse (FR) and at the CCN of Nantes Claude Brumachon (FR) where he has performed pieces by N.Duato, O. Naharin, M. Moreau, R. Oller, H. Koch, G.Ramírez and J. Maillot among others.

In 2004 he was awarded at the Monaco Dance Forum as “Best Young Promise” and in 2010 he was nominated by Dance Europe magazine in the “Top 100 outstanding dancers” list. 

As a choreographer, he has made the pieces “Isolats”, “Ex-pressions” for the Ballet de la Generalitat and “EpisOdis” for the XX Appointment with Dance FIB. In addition, he has choreographed in the interdisciplinary projects of the Provincial Council of Valencia “Formossísima” and “Temps d’abraçar”.

In 2023 he joins the civil service of the Primary Education teacher body of the Generalitat Valenciana and is part of educational projects such as Com Sona l'ESO in which dance and music are combined in formal training.

Soloist dancer of the Ballet de la Generalitat Valenciana (ES) from 2008 to 2017. 

Graduated in 2003 from the Professional Conservatory of Dance of Valencia in the specialty of Classical Dance, she continued her training at the National Dance Company 2, at the Teatro Alla Scala in Milan and at the Scuola di Danza Teatro dell'Opera di Roma, among others. others. 

Professionally, she has danced pieces by Nacho Duato, Ohad Naharín, Marcos Morau, Gustavo Ramírez, Ramón Oller, among projects and companies.

Graduated in Classical Dance Pedagogy in 2009 from the Conservatorio Superior de Dansa de València, she combines her professional career with teaching by teaching classes in private schools and public centers in Valencia, currently a teacher at the Conservatori Professional de Dansa de Castelló. In 2016 he completed his training with a Master's Degree in Cultural Management, from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC).

In the choreographic field he premiered in 2012 with “Zaquizamí”, a piece created in collaboration with Thaïs Martínez and premiered by the Ballet of the Generalitat Valenciana..

Graduated from the Royal Professional Conservatory of Dance of Madrid in 2003. She has been a dancer with soloist roles in large companies such as the English National Ballet, , Stuttgart Ballet and Ballet de la Generalitat Valenciana.  

In 2003 she was a semi-finalist at the Prix de Lausanne and nominated in 2008 for the Spotlight Award as Female (classical) at the National British Dance Awards. She has danced for the Queen of England at Buckingham Palace and represented arts and culture in the English pavilion at the Shanghai Expo in 2010. 

Since 2018 she has been Rehearsal Director of the National Ballet of Ireland and collaborates with the Instituto Cervantes headquarters in Dublin on talks and specific projects that unite the Spanish language and culture with dance. In its goal of bringing dance to all audiences in 2022, it creates the Migrantes de la Danza, podcast, a sound space that gives voice to artists who develop their professional careers inside and outside our borders. 

In addition, he has participated in educational workshops for children with special motor needs, such as the BalletVale+ project and for minors supervised by the State through the Diagrama Foundation. 

As a choreographer she has collaborated on several occasions for the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía, choreographing the piece “Caprichos” with music by Nicolo Paganini  and the children's show “Mozart Un Tanz” together with Fátima Sanlés for the Mozart Nacht und Tag conferences, both organized by the Valencian Coliseum. 

She combines her work in Ireland by participating as a guest teacher in large companies and schools at national and European level such as National Ballet of Marseille (France), Joburg Ballet (South Africa), Ballet Basel (Switzerland), Scottish Ballet (UK), Professional Conservatory of Dance of València and and Burgos Professional Dance Conservatory as a specialist teacher of classical repertoire.

 

Natural de  València. Inicia sus estudios de danza desde muy pequeña en escuelas de su ciudad, siempre muy relacionada con salir para participar en cursos de danza como en Rosella Hightower Cannes Francia, y diferentes eventos con coreógrafos nacionales e internacionales.

En 1996 da el salto para entrar en el  Hochschule für Musik Köln, Deutschland, para obtener el Dance Diploma en Klassischer Tanz, Moderner Tanz, Komposition, Tanztheorie, Kinetographie. Prof, Dr Lohmann en 1999. Durante estos tres años acabó su graduación en Danza Clásica y Danza Contemporánea por el Conservatorio Superior de Danza de València. Además, trabajó para la compañía de Volkstheater Rostock, Alemania, como invitada en ballets como Coppelia, Romeo & Juliet (1997/1998), así como con Euregio Tanz-forum dance company Heerlen, The Netherlands and Tanz Forum director Jochen Ulrich at the Köln Philharmoniker. (Germany). 

Tras finalizar sus estudios en Alemania se le otorga el título a efectos de docencia a los estudios superiores de danza por el MEC (Ministerio Educación y Cultura)

Tras varias audiciones Laura entra en el Ballet Theater München am Gärtnerplatztheater, Germany. Director: Philip Taylor. desde septiembre de 1999 a agosto 2004 como solista. Bailando el repertorio del director y los diferentes coreógrafos invitados como  Rui Horta, Jiri Kylian, Robert Cohan, Cayetano Soto entre otros. 

En 2004, Laura entra en Rhine National Opera in Mulhouse, Francia. Como solista con la dirección de Bertrand d’At. Volviendo a bailar repertorio clásico y trabajando con otros coreógrafos invitados como Davide Bombana, Maryse Delente, Nacho Duato, Lucinda Childs. Andonis Foniadakis y  David Nixon. 

En el verano del 2006 tras una lesión de rodilla Laura se despide del escenario y se pone al lado del coreógrafo Cayetano Soto, como su repetidora y asistente de coreografía, en diferentes compañías por toda Europa y Canadá.

Durante esos más de 7 años Laura es invitada a impartir clases de danza clásica en diferentes escuelas de Valencia y en cursos de verano en el Conservatorio Profesional de danza de Valencia.

También ha estado de ayudantía para teatro con Jaime Pérez. Perez-Disla Company. 

Todo ello acaba siendo también repetidora y asistente de Annett Ghöre, con la que trabaja en diferentes coreografías en danza y Ópera en Alemania y Pekín China.

En abril 2020 y Febrero 2021 Laura imparte cursillos de danza clásica y repertorio a profesionales en 180 Madrid con repertorio de Cayetano Soto e Ihsan Rustem.

Febrero del 2023 remonta para el Joven Ballet de Antwerp  “Bolero” de Ihsan Rustem y en agosto del mismo año, imparte taller en el  curso de danza  internacional de Verano ADAM con repertorio de Ihsan Rustem.
